FAQs
Q: What do the itty bitty dancers and tiny dancer classes consist of?
A: Itty bitty dancers are ages 2-3 and take a 30 minute pre ballet class. Tiny dancers are ages 3-4 and take an hour combo class of pre-ballet and tap. With fun music playing, both classes will get their bodies moving and use their imaginations.
Q: Can I stay and watch classes?
A: Of course! You are not required to stay and watch, but are always welcome to watch class through one of our viewing windows. We ask that parents refrain from entering class with their dancer, or opening studio doors during class to prevent disruptions.
Q: When Can I sign up?
A: Registration is open until February. Register anytime before then to participate in our end of year recital in June.
Q: Does my dancer have to wear specific dance attire to class?
A: Yes! Please see our dress code, found on our website, for more information.
Q: What is contemporary dance?
A: Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical, and classical ballet. Contemporary dancers strive to connect the mind and the body through fluid dance movements.
Q: What age can my dancer start taking classes?
A: We have classes for ages 2-18. There is something for all levels!
