2026 Recital Information

Recital Theme: Showtime! Join us for our movie themed recital June 20, 2026

Location and Showtimes

Recital location TBA. There are 3 shows. Each class will perform in 1 show. Show breakdowns will be included in your recital handbook.

Show A: Saturday, June 20th at 11:30am

Show B: Saturday, June 20th at 2:30pm

Show C: Saturday, June 20th at 6:00pm

Tickets and Lobby Sales

Recital tickets will go on sale May 15th in studio. Presale tickets are $20. Seating is general admission. Doors to the auditorium will open 30 minutes prior to showtime. Lobby doors will open 1 hour prior to showtime.

Ticket sales at the door: $25 via cash, zelle, or card (cc fee applies). There will be no discounted tickets or exchanging tickets at the event.

We will have programs, concessions, flowers, and stuffed animals for sale in the lobby via cash or zelle payments.

Program ads and Recital Shirts

Shout out your favorite dancer by purchasing them a personalized ad, which will be featured in our 2026 Recital Program! A free program is included in the purchase of an ad. Check out an example ad here

Recital T-shirts and Program Ads will go on pre-sale May 15th. Check back for links to purchase.

Important Information for DWDA Families

All of our recreational and competitive dancers participate in the annual recital. Participation is not mandatory, however, we assume all dancers are participating unless we are notified at the front desk.

Recital Photos
Date: TBA

Recital Photos will be held in studio in May. Photos will be taken by Jake Joe, dancestudiopix@gmail.com Recital Photo participation is optional. Registration and payments are handled directly through the photographer. DWDA does not take payments for recital photos. Registration is required in order for you to be photographed. You can choose to buy the group photo only, or individual photos and the group photo. These photos will be featured in our recital program. Recital photo schedule is set by the photographer and will be sent out via email a week prior to photos.

Show Day Procedures, Show Line ups, and Dress Rehearsals

Please refer to the recital handbook for detailed information. Dress Rehearsals will be held at the same location as recital. This is a chance for dancers to run their dances on stage in their costumes. Please have all tights, shoes, hair accessories for this rehearsal. Make up and hair are not required for this rehearsal, however, it is a great chance to practice it.

Costume Information

Costume fees are paid at the front desk. The deadline for costume payments is February 15th. Costume fees are non refundable. We measure the students in studio and order their size accordingly. Costumes will be handed out in studio as they arrive. Please view our Costume Lookbook for your individual classes costume and accessories you will need.
